I am writing to you with request to support sharing of the following information, related to journalist assault in Ukraine.
The additional reason why I am writing to you is that some Ukrainian TV companies were prohibited to to put on air this news.

General information.
For more that three years there exist journalists project "Road Control", driven mainly by it's founder Rostislav Shaposhnikov. The main idea of this project is to detect, reveal and investigate offences and crimes of state authorities. During such short period dozens of claims against State Automobile Inspection, Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine, Prosecutors' and Judges were satisfied. Thanking to Rostislav's advocacy millions of dollars were not stolen from Ukrainian citizens using criminal schemas, organized by Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine.

What happened.
24.03.2012 at 11:00 near the Rostislav's car he was attacked by two men of a stong constitution and pushed into a SUV. He was transferred to outskirts of Kyiv, to the roadside with forest, where he was heavily beaten by four attackers, he was suffocated by plastic bag, pulled over his head. Thanking to pair of cyclists, coming closer, the attackers escaped. The cyclists have done some photoes and videos of Rostislav before Emergency arrived.

Official investigation.
The same day the criminal case was initialted due to robbery!!! So, from the early beginning law enforcement agents assumed that !four! mobs using SUV attacked Rostislav just to get 8-year mobile phone glyed with sticked tape and small amount of money!
Only in couple of days after publicity under public pressure prosecutors have changed the reason for criminal case initiation to robbery with violence performed by organized group.

Recent investigations of Rostislav.
About week ago Rostislav with other members of Road Control project detected and filmed mass falsification of the protocols by traffic inspectors. To support and cover Traffic inspectors several dozens of policeman and several dozens of unidentified persons of strong constitution immedialy arrived. But thanking to prompt arrival of TV reporters no Road Conrol members were attacked.
Numbers of videos showing unlawful actions such as stealing of driver's car, falsification of "driving drunk" performed by special division "Cobra" of Ministry of internal Affairs.

The resonant case against inspector of special division "Cobra" of Ministry of internal Affairs when the Road Control site was closed by unlawful decision of Ukrainian judge just because the inspector assumed that some anonymous comments are offending him. - In couple of days the site was restored due to country-wide resonance.

A year ago another journalist of Road Control project, that was filming on his mobile illegal actions of Traffic Police was attacked by four policeman, thrown into jail, where he was hevily beaten by the police. The police accused him that he was the one [he is of frail physique] who attacked four strong policeman. Police also has deleted the video from his mobile. After he was released from the jail computer experts managed to restore deleted video, that shows that the policeman are the ones who attacked journalists. Rostislav is the official representative (advocate) of this victim. In the recent day the criminal case against these policeman were expected to be initiated. But since Rostislav is now is unable to walk, there could be done some frauds to prevent initiation of criminal case against policeman.

Conclusion and request.
One the most important reasons why I am writing to you is that we have information, that there is a high pressure on TV channel to prevent publicity of this case. The reason is that our state authorities are not interested that European Union representatives become aware of such violation of journalists right and apply sanctions against Ukraine, especially close to Euro-2012. That is why if you are able to organize publicity of this case, please do it.

насчет телефона думаю писать не нужно. Там и камеру и регистратор сперли. Больше нужно указывать на первоначальные выводы следствия по поводу только грабежа и игнорирования побоев

ОЧЕНЬ... там безопасность граждан - вопрос куда более серьезный, чем безопасность кортежей власти...

немного подкорректировал, смотрите сами еще, может чего не доглядел
а вообще молодцы. думаю на Западе будут "рады" видеть такую новость
фото и видео кидайте обязательно и добавьте то что мусора все чуть ли не на хулиганство "почему то" списывают
